I'm writing this from the island of Sicily, Italy. I'm here to celebrate my birthday, go on one of EF Ultimate Break's new tours, then explore a country I never even heard of before they went on last season of the Bachelor.

I'll have a ton more to share from this trips in a couple weeks... After all, it just started :)

Before I go grab some pasta for dinner, I want to talk about how to find cheap airfare, something that can make a huge difference in your travel budget.

When it comes to booking flights, there are a few tips and tricks that can help you save money and get the best deal. Here’s what I recommend:

• Be Flexible with Your Dates: Flights are usually cheaper on weekdays (especially Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and prices can vary depending on the time of day. If you can adjust your travel dates by a day or two, it can make a big difference.
• Use Fare Comparison Tools: Websites like Google Flights and Skyscanner let you compare prices across many airlines and booking sites. Google Flights even lets you set alerts for specific routes so you can track when prices drop. • Book in Advance (But Not Too Far Ahead): While booking early is usually a good idea, booking too far in advance can sometimes lead to higher prices. Aim for around 6-12 weeks before domestic travel, and 2-6 months before international travel.
• Look for Alternative Airlines or Budget Carriers: Don't overlook budget airlines or lesser-known carriers. While they may not have the same perks as major airlines, they often offer great savings if you are traveling light and don't care about seat selection.
